Schoolboy, 16, dies after being hit by lorry on A2 as heartbroken parents say 'we will never recover
THE devastated parents of a schoolboy who was hit by a lorry say they will never recover from his death.
Ekam Sadana, 16, stepped in front of an HGV on the A2 in Kent in September last year.
An inquest heard he showed no signs of low mood, depression or suicidal thoughts before his sudden passing.
His parents Gagan and Arshan Gulati told KentOnline: "We will never be able to recover and come to terms with what has happened.
"Life has changed forever for us.
"Words will never be enough to express how challenging it is to live knowing he's not coming back."

They described their son as a "very kind and generous" boy who had a "compassionate heart".
"He was a loving brother and a devoted son, a person who got on well with everyone in his family and friends," they added.
Ekam was reported missing after making a "worrying" call to his family while they were away in Paris, County Hall in Maidstone heard.
He was later found at the side of the road near the junctions for Cobham and Gravesend.

That night, Ekam, who had been staying at a friend's house with his sister, told his mum he was "low and lonely".
A suicide note was later discovered on his phone.
His cause of death was given as multiple injuries as a result of a road traffic collision.
Assistant coroner Alan Blunsdon described the case as a "tragic and unforeseen" suicide.
