Mystery as man's body is found in Crawley street as cops launch investigation

COPS have launched an investigation after a man was found dead on a quiet residential street.

Police arrived at the scene in Tilgate Way, Crawley at 11am and discovered the man had passed away.

A Sussex Police spokesman said: "Around 11am on Sunday, May 21, police were called to a report of a man found in the street in Tilgate Way, Crawley.

"On arrival, officers discovered the man was deceased. The cause of his death remains under investigation.

"There will be a police presence in the area while officers investigate the circumstances.

"We would like to thank local residents for their patience and cooperation while the investigation takes place."
