iPhone X on sale for 15,000 on eBay just hours after it launched in the UK

APPLE fans who didn't buy an iPhone X today face a wait of several weeks before they can get their hands on the £999 gadget.

But some hawkers are trying to capitalise on the Xcitement by flogging their own handsets for up to £15,000 on eBay.

Most eBay users were a little more realistic with their pricing, with most trying to flog their phones for about £3,000.

Last week, we revealed how even more ambitious people were trying to sell their gadget for up to £46,000 - even though it wasn't released yet.

Phone fans who pre-ordered the gadget received their gadgets today, while queues formed outside Apple Stores around the world as people clamoured to buy one of the gadgets.

The phone is likely to sell out in stores today and online customers already face a wait of several weeks.

Is anyone really impatient enough to fork out £15,000 when all they need to do is wait a month or so to buy an X?
